Kherington is a recent highschool graduate who has been taking dance lessons since she was 2 and a half years old. She has studied jazz, lyrical, ballet, point, gymnastics, and contemporary styles, though she consideres herself a contemporary jazz dancer.

When not dancing Kherington also enjoys playing soccer, though dancing is her dream career.

During the L.A. auditions for season 4 of So You Think You Can Dance, the judges (Mary and Mia Michaels) said Kherington had the "it" factor. Mia Michaels is one of the choreographers that Kherington most wants to work with. The judges said they remembered her from season 3 auditions and were glad to see her back. They loved her infectious personality. (As we all do.)

Kherington is currently not married, but it did appear that she was wearing a wedding band during Week 1 rehearsals. Maybe?
